Day 1 | PLAYA DEL CARMEN - MEXICO

Welcome to the Atlantic to the Pacific Tour We are excited to show you the wonders of Latin America! Please arrive by 5pm local time. Your Chief Traveller will meet you at the hotel where you will meet fellow adventurers and have your first drink together. Head out tonight with your new travel amigos! Included local experience: Your welcome/bienvenida dinner. Samples the local cuisine paired with delicious cocktails.

DAY 2 | PLAYA DEL CARMEN - MEXICO

Explore the Mayan ruins of Tulúm, scuba dive in Cozumel, or hang by the beach and enjoy the waves. There’s also some great shopping, street markets and of course amazing night life! Included local experience: Visit and swim in a cenote (Sacred Water Hole) and marvel at the crystal clear waters.




DAY 3 | PLAYA DEL CARMEN - MEXICO TO CAYE CAULKER - BELIZE

Travel by bus and boat to the gorgeous Belizean island of Caye Caulker. Go diving, snorkelling to see the amazing local marine life or just chill out, Belizean style. Try the local seafood and dance the night away.

DAY 4-5 | CAYE CAULKER - BELIZE

Enjoy life Belizean style. Opt to snorkel with the local marine life at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, go scuba diving or just chill out. Belize also boasts beautiful jungle and friendly, easygoing people. Try the local seafood and dance the night away. Included local experience: Cycle around the island discovering local sites. Optional beach and island activities to choose from. Snorkelling, hammocks, cocktails and ceviche (seafood cocktail) and more…




DAY 6 | CAYE CAULKER TO SAN IGNACIO - BELIZE

Travel by boat and bus to San Ignacio, grabbing some local lunch along the way. From the town of San Ignacio, opportunities abound for exploring Belize’s little known inland scenic beauty, you can challenge yourself with caving, tubing and other water activities.

DAY 7 | SAN IGNACIO - BELIZE

Learn about the local history and discover the inland scenic beauty. Choose from the many optional adventure activities and swim in the beautiful pools and rivers.

DAY 8 | SAN IGNACIO - BELIZE TO FLORES - GUATEMALA

Travel from Belize to Guatemala and switch to the Spanish language. Included local experience: Learn about Mayan culture and history on a guided tour of the ruins of Tikal from Star Wars fame and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrive in Flores a small island located in the second largest lake of Guatemala, Lake Petén Itzá.




DAY 9 | FLORES TO RIO DULCE - GUATEMALA

A travel day to Rio Dulce a small town on lake Izabal, the largest lake in Guatemala. Journey to Rio Dulce via boat and explore Livingston, a Lively afro community where music and dance is present everywhere. Kayak and or wonder through the rainforest and see fauna and flora Enjoy the surrounding scenery and choose to learn to cook local cuisines or enjoy a horse ride.

DAY 10 | RIO DULCE - GUATEMALA

Enjoy the surrounding scenery, explore by kayak or on horseback, and taste local cuisines. Option to visit the coastal town of Livingston by boat, go for a swim in a natural hot waterfall, take a sunrise kayak to visit groups of howler monkeys, or take a horseback ride.




DAY 11 | RIO DULCE TO ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA

Travel by land to the beautiful colonial town of Antigua and enjoy a Discovery Walk of Antigua's streets, then take a salsa lesson. Plan your activities for the next day and enjoy some of the nightlife this beautiful colonial city has to offer. Included local experience: Enjoy a discovery walk of Antigua's cobblestone streets, then take a salsa lesson to practice new moves during our night out.

DAY 12 | ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA

Enjoy a free day in Antigua. Feel free to relax or try optional activities like hiking a volcano, visiting a macadamia nut plantation, and taking a salsa lesson. Soak up the culture in one of the city's many cafés, or explore the nearby hills and towns by bike. Your Chief Traveller has more ideas if you need them. Just ask!




DAY 13 | ANTIGUA TO PANAJACHEL - GUATEMALA

Travel from Antigua via the stunning Lake Atitlan to the town of Panajachel, enjoying the scenery.

DAY 14 | PANAJACHEL TO SAN JUAN LA LAGUNA BACK TO PANAJACHEL - GUATEMALA

Embark on a boat ride across the lake and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and shop for Mayan handicrafts and learn about the medicinal properties of local plants. Enjoy lunch with stunning lake views at La Casa Del Mundo/ the house of the world. Included local experience: Boat ride exploring Lake Atitlan and the surrounding native villages.




DAY 15 | PANAJACHEL TO ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA

Return to Antigua and enjoy a local’s night out with the group. This will be the last night of the Mayan Tropical Adventure tour for some amigos and others will continue. Some new amigos will join the tour tomorrow

Enjoy free time to relax and enjoy the local sites and views.




DAY 17 | GUATEMALA - GUATEMALA TO COPÁN - HONDURAS

Travel from Antigua Guatemala to Copán Honduras, approximately 270km with a country border crossing. Included local Experience - Afternoon at the Jaguar Moon Hot Springs Spa Resort Enjoy an afternoon at the Jaguar Moon Spa Resort. Immerse yourself in the hot springs in the middle of the jungle for a soothing and relaxing rejuvenation session.

DAY 18 | COPÁN - HONDURAS

Visit the UNESCO heritage listed ruins of Copán or explore the hills on horseback. The Mayan ruins of Copán are beautiful and unique among Mayan cities. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980, Copán contains some of the most important Mayan ruins found to date, and many unusual artistic features, including some of the most detailed carving in the Mayan world. Included local experience - The Tea & Chocolate Place An educational space where you can learn about environmental issues affecting the area of Copan, at the same time learn about a variety of teas and other natural products that we make from native and foreign medicinal plants organically grown in our Copan 2012 Botanical Research Station. The center is located in a peaceful, garden-like setting with amazing views of the mountains.




DAY 19 | COPÁN - HONDURAS TO SUCHITOTO - EL SALAVADOR

Cross the border into El Salvador and stay in the colonial town of Suchitoto. Learn to make the delicious national dish pupusas (Included local experience), a local Salvadorian specialty. Included local experience: Pupusas ( National Dish) - Dinner 'Pupusas' You may have heard of them and once you taste them you will never forget them. Try your hand at making these delicious corn flour tortillas with your favourite fillings, paired with the local drinks, horchata, cerveza / beer or some local rum.

DAY 20 | SUCHITOTO - EL SALVADOR

El Salvador - Suchitoto Suchitoto is a town set in the mountains of El Salvador’s Cuscatlán department. Its colonial architecture is highlighted by the mid-1800s Santa Lucia Church, with a wooden altar and beams, that sits on Parque Central. The town overlooks Lago Suchitlán, a large man-made lake with boats and migratory birds. The Centro Arte para la Paz houses a museum, gallery and gardens in a former convent. Enjoy a day in Suchitoto, hike the forest, learn to dye clothes the traditional way, bird watch and try your hand at fishing. Included local experience - Indigo Clothes Dying




DAY 21 | SUCHITOTO TO LA PITA - EL SALVADOR

El Salvador - Suchitoto to Ataco Local experince inclusion - Dinner on El Rio Lempa Travel to this colonial village known for its street art and waterfalls.

DAY 22 | ATACO TO PLAYA EL PALMARCITO - EL SALVADOR

El Salvador - Ataco to Playa El Palmercito Travel along the coast and opt to climb the Santa Ana volcano and view the gorgeous Lake Coatepeque on the way. The sunsets, surfing and seafood are stunning by the Pacific ocean.




DAY 23 | PLAYA EL PALMARCITO - EL SALVADOR

El Salvador - Playa El Palmercito Enjoy the coast, surf, swim and try the local produce and end the night with a bonfire by the beach.

DAY 24 | PLAYA EL PALMARCITO - EL SALVADOR

El Salvador - Playa El Palmercito Enjoy a surf lesson, eat fresh seafood at the fish market in nearby La Libertad, visit the Tamanique waterfalls, and hang with the locals.

DAY 26-27 | MONTEVERDE - COSTA RICA

Costa Rica - Monteverde Visit a cloud forest reserve, fly through the jungle canopy via zipline, quad bike riding, bungee jumping, or choose to take some down time and do a forest walk or enjoy the local coffee and cuisine. Included local experience Café Monteverde Coffee Tour Family-owned and operated educational farm offering coffee tours and delicious samples.




DAY 28 | MONTEVERDE TO LA FORTUNA - COSTA RICA

Costa Rica - Monteverde to La Fortuna Transfer to La Fortuna along windy roads, then take a picturesque boat ride on Lake Arenal before a short ride to the town.

DAY 29 | LA FORTUNA - COSTA RICA

Costa Rica - La Fortuna Costa Rica - La Fortuna Waterfall visit Included local experiences Take a walk just outside the town of La Fortuna to the nearby waterfall. Once at the gate, descend the trail through lush rainforest of more than 500 steps to get to the base of the falls. The water cascades 65m (200 ft) down the side of the dormant Cerro Chato. Sit peacefully on the rocks and then plunge into the fresh waters.
