Day 1 | SAN JOSÉ - COSTA RICA
Discover Costa Rica's capital on foot and enjoy a local night out. Explore local museums and try traditional cuisine Vibrant and packed with Victorian mansions, Costa Rica's rowdy, bustling capital was built on the profits of the coffee trade and working "golden bean" plantations still surround the city. Try freshly roasted local beans at Mercado Central. For shinier gold, visit the Museo del Oro. Many renovated landmarks now house stylish hotels. Usually viewed as a hub, rather than a destination, nightlife is concentrated in Spanish village-inspired El Pueblo. Don't miss the elegant 1897 National Theatre.
DAY 2 | SAN JOSÉ to MONTEVERDE

DAY 3-4 | MONTEVERDE
Costa Rica - Monteverde
Visit a cloud forest reserve, fly through the jungle canopy via zipline, quad bike riding, bungee jumping, or choose to take some down time and do a forest walk or enjoy the local coffee and cuisine.
DAY 5 | MONTEVERDE TO LA FORTUNA
Costa Rica - Monteverde to La Fortuna
Transfer to La Fortuna along windy roads, then take a picturesque boat ride on Lake Arenal before a short ride to the town.
DAY 6 | LA FORTUNA
Costa Rica - La Fortuna - Get to know/Conocer walk
The town of La Fortuna lies at the base of the Arenal Volcano, which dominates the landscape rising to 1670 meters high. The town has become famous as the adventure sports capital of Costa Rica. Enjoy a walk to get to know local restaurants and get an activities briefing to choose your next adventure.
DAY 7 | LA FORTUNA
Costa Rica - La Fortuna Waterfall visit
Take a walk just outside the town of La Fortuna to the nearby waterfall. Once at the gate, descend the trail through lush rainforest of more than 500 steps to get to the base of the falls. The water cascades 65m (200 ft) down the side of the dormant Cerro Chato. Sit peacefully on the rocks and then plunge into the fresh waters.
DAY 8 | LA FORTUNA TO PUERTO VIEJO
La Fortuna to Puerto Viejo
DAY 9-10 | PUERTO VIEJO
Puerto Viejo
2 nights at Puerto Viejo. Sun, beach and waves. Swim on beautiful beaches or go on a hike during the day and dance by night.
DAY 11 | PUERTO VIEJO TO SAN JOSÉ
Puerto Viejo to San Jose
DAY 12 | SAN JOSÉ

DAY 12 | ANTIGUA - GUATEMALA
Enjoy a free day in Antigua. Feel free to relax or try optional activities like hiking a volcano, visiting a macadamia nut plantation, and taking a salsa lesson.
